The darn MyBlogLog cookie.
By sorvoja on Feb 4, 2007 in Social media
I am a member customer of MyBlogLog just to have their stats, I hate being tracked around on the blogs that I read. It isn’t even enough to log out, the darn cookie is still there. It is really frustrating.
On this page, you’ll find a cookie tracking opt-out link:

I’ve seen your mybloglog logo into my blog and… here i am!
I found you only because of this tracking: don’t you like it?

Ditto on what Alberto said, that’s why I’m here too. I like the tracking cookie. It’s rather fun to see a familar face on my blog, or to meet new ones. I don’t have a problem with it, but I can understand if one would prefer to remail ‘anonymous’ or lurk without being spotted. :)

‘remain’… not, ‘remail’. [sigh] I’m not quite awake yet this morning.

Thank you for visiting, I though it over once again and I figured that it is not a big deal. When visiting sensitive sites I could just use Opera, and then it would not matter if I am tracked while using Firefox. Hopefully I will have my cake and eat it too this way.
