Due to internal problems DMOZ still has not opened up for submissions from the public. “The Best of The Web”, which claims to be the oldest internet directory is taking advantage of this situation. Unless BOTW makes a partership with Google or one of the other major players in the search field I would expect this directory to remain as unimportant and worthless as it has been the past 13 years.

BOTW is a regular advertiser at the shows at webmasterradio.fm, and they are offering free cateogry sponsorships, I have not looked into that yet. However their directory is nice looking, so I might just do so. Afterall it is free advertising.
