I went to a party last Saturday, not a huge party just a friends birthday where we sat around drinking beer and talking. Then of some reason the word dropkick came into the conversation. What does drop kick really mean. Someone suggested looking it up using the computer that managed the music. Great! Would she pick Google or some other search engine? What would she search for? How would they select the result to click on? I love to watch other people search. It was almost disappointing, she quickly went to Wikipedia and searched for dropkick. They found exactly what they needed to find without going though a search engine. What would I have done? I would have done a define:dropkick search in Google. A few follow up questions from me uncovered that Wikipedia is often the first stop when seeking knowledge.
