Get blogged for $40

Review Me

I just came across reviewme.com it is a service where advertisers can buy reviews on their products and services from related blogs. The one time fee of a review is starting at $40 and as far as I can tell the review fee will be split 50/50 between the reviewer and reviewme.com. I think this is a great business model, and I am certain that there will be competition in this market.

Lets dig into this, $40 is not a lot if the blog is related and on topic. Let’s say I want to promote a web store that sells camping gear, if I can get a review in a well visited camping blog for $40 then I should be able to cover the cost with the profits from just a few typical sales. If the review attracts attention from other blogs this spin off will be free, and if the review contains live links then they will always be worth something even after they are buried in the archives. The blogger will also benefit from this, far from every blogger are able to make $20 from a single blog post. Writing reviews could provide some blogs with a nice way of monetization.
